CORD needs job coaches!

Do you have some time to help a youth with a disability in his/her first job? CORD's Transitional Internship Program (TIP) needs you! Job coaches will be paid $15 per hour and may work with more than one participant if the schedules allow. Independent Living Advocate

CORD is looking for an independent living advocate to provide skills training, peer support, individual and systemic advocacy, and information & referral to people with disabilities

A qualified applicant will be energetic and enthusiastic about fundraising, highly organized, able to speak in public about disability rights, and be committed to civil rights. Must be able to learn about a wide range of services and laws for people with disabilities as there is a lot of reading and retention required for this position. Experience providing services for people with disabilities is a major plus.

Salary is $15 per hour plus health, dental, and short-term disability benefits.

Join the CORD team and be a part of our newest program, the Mobile Food Pantry, as well as training students for paid internship programs and transitioning people from nursing homes back into the community.
